Mr. Robert T. Laverty

Robert T. Laverty was born to E.A. and Marguerite A, (Hill) Laverty on November 18, 1933 at Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away at his home in Ainsworth, Nebraska on September 30, 2016. Robert served his country as a Career Service Man for the United States Navy and Air Force from 1952-1973.
He is survived by his four sons, Robert Laverty and John Laverty both of Dallas, Oregon, Mark Laverty of Ainsworth, and Eric Laverty of Gering, Nebraska; three grandchildren, sister, Margie St. Germain of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; and other family members.
Graveside services were held at the Ainsworth Cemetery on October 5, 2016 with Father Phil Flott officiating the service. Military Honors were provided by the Ainsworth American Legion Post #79. Visitations with a Rosary/prayer service were held prior to the graveside at Hoch Funeral Home. Memorials were suggested to the Ainsworth American Legion Post #79, or to the donor's choice.
