Franki Louise Biltoft was born on January 31, 1983, to parents Frank Earl and Kathryn Jo (Hapke) Biltoft of Long Pine, Nebraska. She was the fifth child of this union. At a young age the family moved to Ainsworth, Nebraska. Upon the death of her mother in 1989, her father remarried and she gained another two siblings giving her six sisters and one brother.
After high school, she went to college in York for a short period. She moved around quite a bit. She lived in Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska until she met her significant other, John Saltzman. They lived in Little Falls, Minnesota. She and John had two cats, Tiny and Biscuit, who were like children to her. Franki once claimed that her hobby was collecting hobbies. She was a video game connoisseur, aka addict. She loved crafting in all forms and would spend endless hours making gifts for friends and family members. She made jewelry and crafts that she sold online through Ebay. She loved spending time with friends and family, calling all her siblings to keep in touch. She left this world on November 9th, 2022.
Franki was preceded in death by both of her biological parents, Frank and Kathryn Biltoft and all grandparents as well as her younger sister, Anita “Skeeter” Biltoft and brother, Dana Myers. She is survived by sisters, Tonda Biltoft of Ainsworth, Faye (John) Potter of Coldwater, MI, Jamie Biltoft of Long Pine, Mary Lynn Tunender of Long Pine, Angela (Marvin) Beed of Fullerton, NE, Jeri Biltoft of Ainsworth; stepmom, Mary E. Biltoft of Fullerton, NE; many nieces and nephews, and special friend, John Saltzman of Little Falls, MN.
A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 in the Ainsworth Assembly of God Church with Pastor Gary Graesser officiating. Music was provided by Myra Williams with William Biltoft singing “Blessed Assurance.” The CD Selections of “Go Rest High On That Mountain” by Vince Gill and “The Old Rugged Cross” by Tennessee Ernie Ford were played. Inurnment followed in the Grandview Cemetery at Long Pine. Memorials are suggested to the family for a future designation.
