Brayden Michael Lawrenz was born February 21, 2005 in Kearney, Nebraska to Stacey Lawrenz and Briana Carol Lawrenz. He was always full of energy and climbing all over like a monkey. By the age of 1, he was talking in sentences and would talk anyone's ear off. He knew no strangers. When at the park, he would know everyone's name and be playing with "new" friends each time. He started going to basketball skills classes at the age of 3 and loved basketball every day since. Football came in as a close second. He could name lots of different college and pro players, plus how old they were, their position, and sometimes even what draft pick they were. Brayden's smile would light up a room, and everyone would notice! He cared for the "least of these" and never wanted others to think that no one cared for them. He had many struggles, but still made a difference in many lives, even after his death. Brayden joined God's Army back as a child and knew Jesus was his Savior. He is now a part of God's Army and joined it on May 27, 2020. He leaves behind many family and friends to continue to share his story and spread his kindness and wit with others. There will be a "Celebration of Life" event on (Saturday) August 1, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the East City Park in Ainsworth, Nebraska.
